We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused, commercially driven individual to join the British Library Retail Team.
The Retail Team is responsible for delivering excellence in sales, operating standards and service at a variety of retail areas throughout the visitor journey. The team are responsible for the delivery of sales KPI’s such as conversion, spend per visit and average transaction value. They are also responsible for online stock fulfilment, stock control, replenishment and visual merchandising.
The Retail Team sits within the Commercial Services Department alongside Membership, Publishing, Commercial Brand Development, Catering, Events and Visitor Experience.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a team in a retail environment. You will have experience in cash handling and following audit procedures. You will also have experience in sales and delivering sales targets, with a natural ability to positively engage with customers and deliver excellent customer service.
The post holder will work a 7.12 hour day between the hours of 8am and 9pm Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
